Support Service Offerings

My Philosophy….

As a postpartum doula it is my goal to offer you care that is compassionate, genuine, respectful, healing and helpful. All births and postpartum experiences are unique to every family so support services will be tailored to meet any specific needs you may have in order to best serve you in all aspects of your postpartum period. I aim to support you in achieving as easy of a transition as possible while you adjust to this new life. I am passionate about mother and baby care and hope to be a valuable source of evidence based information along with a pillar of encouragement and warmth.

How a postpartum doula may benefit you…

  • Practical support that will help you to feel empowered in decisions you make.

  • Education regarding the physical and emotional health of the new mother.

  • Transitional support for the entire family which includes older siblings and pets.

  • Information on newborn care and also characteristics you might see in your new baby.

  • Education regarding feeding your baby both regarding breast feeding and bottle feeding.

    • I DO NOT

      • Offer medical advice or perform any procedures or assessments on mother or baby along with any other members of the household.

SERVICES AND PRICING:

Postpartum Plan Meeting:

With a postpartum plan meeting you will be provided with my guide “The Postpartum Playbook.” You will have the opportunity to ask questions along with being offered practical, helpful, and informative information to make your postpartum period the best experience possible. Up to 2 hours of discussion time for meeting covering a variety of topics and any questions you may have, this is your time to get your questions answered and start getting your postpartum plan together! We can talk baby registry and other baby products, what your hopes are for birth and how to prepare for that, managing expectations and setting realistic goals in the immediate postpartum period and topics around lactation and infant feeding. Meetings will be offered virtually via Zoom or Google Meet.

$100 for the Postpartum Plan Meeting

Postpartum Plan Meeting Plus:

Feeling like you might benefit from more than one meeting plus some other forms of support? This package is for you. With the Postpartum Plan Meeting Plus you will have access to all 3 of my guides “Creating a No-Nonsense Baby Registry”, “The Birth Blueprint” & “The Postpartum Playbook.” You will also be able to text for support for the first month after baby is born as well as an additional virtual visit before or after baby’s arrival. Meetings will be offered virtually via Zoom or Google Meet.

What’s included:

  • 2-hour Postpartum Planning session

  • All 3 of my guides

  • Text support for the first month after baby is born

  • Additional virtual visit up to one hour before or after baby’s arrival

    • After baby’s arrival we can chat breastfeeding/bottle feeding, how you are feeling postpartum, managing expectations or any other concerns or experiences you want to talk through.

$150 for the Postpartum Plan Plus Package

Lactation Support and Education: As a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor I am prepared and educated to help you with common breastfeeding concerns and difficulties including bottle feeding (breastmilk and formula) and also pumping. We will spend one hour together going through your needs in order to establish how I can assist you on your lactation journey. It is never too early OR too late to reach out of support. You may be still pregnant and wanting to learn more and prepare. You might also find yourself with your new baby several weeks after birth and needing more help than you anticipated. ***Please note that a referral may be necessary if I feel like you would benefit from more experienced lactation support or what you are experiencing is more complex.

$50 for a one hour lactation session. (If you have already purchased a package and would like to add on additional lactation support sessions will be discounted to $30 and last up to an hour.)
